Popup animations

Your popups can now open and close with an animation, and multi-step popups move smoothly from one step to the next.

What's new

• Enter and exit animations: Fade, Slide up, Slide down, Slide left, Slide right or Scale.
• Your timing: set the duration and the delay, and pick a speed curve such as Natural or Start slow.
• Teaser and follow-up: each one gets its own animation.
• Smooth state transitions: when a shopper moves to the next step, only the parts that change fade. Everything else stays in place.

Why it matters

A popup that slides in feels like part of your store, not an interruption. Smooth steps make a quiz or a multi-step offer feel like one flow.

How to enable it

Open your popup in the editor, select the Container layer and find Popup animation. Pick a Type for Enter and for Exit.

Existing popups have no animation until you add one. Smooth state transitions are on by default.

Shoppers who turned on reduced motion on their device see the popup without animation.
