Express checkout buttons now work with bundles

Before, express checkout buttons disappeared when a shopper picked a bundle, a mix of variants or a deal with a free gift. Now they stay, and one tap sends every product in the deal to checkout with the discount applied.

What's new

• Buttons stay visible: Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Buy it now show on bundles, quantity breaks with different variants, free gifts and upsells.
• The full deal reaches checkout: every product, the free gift and the bundle discount, same as when the shopper adds to cart.

Why it matters

Shoppers who pay with Shop Pay or Apple Pay no longer need to go through the cart to buy a bundle. Fewer steps between the deal and the payment means fewer lost sales.

How to enable it

We are rolling this out step by step. New stores get it automatically. To get it on your store now, contact our support team in the chat and we will turn it on for you.

Your theme must show dynamic checkout buttons on the product page.

A few setups still hide the buttons, because express checkout cannot carry the deal correctly there: for example a quantity break where the shopper picks different variants and the theme's quantity selector is visible. Buy with Prime and headless stores are not supported.
