Founding Engineer (New App)

Our apps are used by 120,000+ Shopify stores and have generated over $3B in revenue for merchants. Most rank #1 or #2 in their categories. We grow about 5% month over month, and now we're launching a new app.

What you'll own

• The new app, end to end: architecture, code, release on the Shopify App Store, and everything after.
• The technical calls: stack choices, quality, performance and reliability.
• What we build and why, together with product and design.
• The feedback loop. You ship fast, talk to the data and improve the app every week.
• The team around the app. You grow it when the app needs more hands.

Who you are

• You have built and shipped products from zero, ideally as a founding or lead engineer.
• You're strong across the full stack and have worked on systems at scale.
• You've built third-party integrations. Shopify experience is a big plus.
• You know when to build it right and when to ship it now.
• You're AI-native. You build with it every day.
• You treat the product as your own. Nobody needs to chase you.
